Freelance Designer, Nürnberg, Germany, 2013-Present
Originally from Minsk, Belarus, I grew up in French-speaking Montreal, Canada, since I was a little girl. However, my last year in high school my family and I moved to United States, where I later attended private Baylor University (Waco,TX), graduating with Honours with a Bachelor in Fine Arts, Graphic Design. Naturally, I acquired proficiency in several languages: I’m fully fluent in English, French, Russian, and now intensively learning German. Since June of 2013, I relocated to Nürnberg, Germany, marrying my wonderful husband who is from here.
I consider myself a seasoned, well-rounded Visual Designer, with experience in different areas of web design: from UX comps to UI, iconography, infographics, branding and mobile. I also enjoy sharing my knowledge and passion for design with my colleagues and juniors.
When it comes to my design philosophy, I truly believe that design is meant to be both – functional and aesthetic. Best visual solutions help users feel at ease while interacting with a web or a mobile product. I view design as a way to communicate to user, by presenting complex information flow in a clear, organised, yet sophisticated and modern way.
